Twist Bioscience Global Sales Launch: A Multi-Day Activation Experience in Portland, Oregon

When Twist Bioscience brought their team to Portland for their global sales kickoff, they wanted to kick things off with energy, creativity, and a sense of place. Over three days, PDX Photo Lounge produced a series of immersive photo experiences that blended local culture, seasonal design, and brand-aligned professionalism, all built to engage, delight, and deliver shareable content.

From a Portland-themed welcome lounge to a vineyard photo experience, professional headshot bays, and custom brand activations, this project showcased our ability to scale across multiple venues, styles, and audiences — all under one seamless production umbrella.

Day 1 – The Portland, Oregon Themed Booth

To welcome Twist’s team to the Rose City, we designed a full-scale Portland-themed photo booth that captured the city’s iconic vibe.
Guests were greeted by a replica Portland marquee sign, a vintage cruiser bike, and a custom brick wall backdrop that gave a nod to Old Town Portland.

Our prop table featured everything from local Stumptown coffee and Voodoo Doughnuts boxes to Portland skyline postcards, neon signage, and floral accents that made every shot pop with color.

The result? A warm, Instagram-worthy welcome that instantly immersed visitors in the local culture — a perfect start to a week of connection and creativity.

Day 2 – Fall Harvest Photo Lounge at Stoller Vineyards

On day two, the experience shifted from the city to Oregon wine country.
At the stunning Stoller Vineyards, we created a fall harvest photo lounge that brought rustic elegance to life.

The backdrop was filled with pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks, and seasonal florals, accented by plaid textures and warm lighting — perfect for cozy, candid moments with colleagues.
Our onsite photographer captured guests enjoying local wine and the relaxed autumn ambiance, turning a casual networking afternoon into a polished visual experience.

Day 3 – Instant Headshots & Corporate Portrait Bays

Wednesday morning began bright and early with two instant headshot bays, each equipped with professional lighting, calibrated cameras, and tethered instant sharing tablets.

From 7AM to 7PM, we produced hundreds of high-quality headshots for Twist’s global team — instantly sharable via text or email and ready for LinkedIn immediately.
Our seamless capture-and-review workflow ensured each guest received a flattering, polished portrait that met both corporate and personal standards.

This activation demonstrated our ability to deliver large-volume, studio-quality photography in fast-paced event environments — a valuable service for conferences, summits, and executive retreats.
